From a subject to competence assessment.
At Heroldovy sady Business Academy, our work includes creating a subject, helping develop a study programme and piloting a teacher–entrepreneur tandem. The next step being prepared is a pilot of our system for assessing competences defined in the Czech Framework Educational Programme.

Creating a subject
Entrepreneurship
We created the Entrepreneurship subject for the school. Our work included designing teaching with its own place and content in the curriculum.
Helping develop a study programme
EVA, now Lyceum
We helped develop the alternative EVA study programme, now Lyceum, contributing to the broader educational concept.
A collaboration piloted in practice
Teacher–entrepreneur tandem
We piloted a tandem between a teacher and an entrepreneur at the school, testing how teaching expertise and business experience can work together in the classroom.

How to assess competence development
While working on EduCanvas, we developed our own methodology: a system for assessing the competences defined in the Czech Framework Educational Programme. It is intended to give schools a concrete process for assessing how well these competences are being developed.
A pilot of this system is being prepared at Heroldovy sady Business Academy. It will show how the methodology works in actual competence assessment at school.
