A joint programme

Three partners, one path

MŮŽEŠ PODNIKAT

Meeting entrepreneurs in person inspires students to start their own projects.

Adaptivio

Entrepreneurship Day — students experience what it takes to start their own business project.

JA Czech

Developing business projects through the JA Pilot competition, with methodological support for teachers.

Value for students

Enthusiasm with room to grow

Students try out how to develop their own idea step by step. During the programme, each student gets support for the first steps and time to work on an idea. Project work helps students see what works, what needs changing and how to continue.

The confidence to get started

Entrepreneurs' stories inspire students to try something. Facilitators help them take the first step, even when they are not yet sure what they want to create.

A more considered solution

Students can discover where their idea stands up and what needs to change. They learn to base their decisions on people's needs and feedback.

Experience of moving their own work forward

Working on a project over time lets them see their progress. They learn to persist, reach agreement in a team and explain why their solution makes sense.

How the programme works

The seminar and Entrepreneurship Day take place on two separately agreed dates; they do not have to be consecutive. Teams then continue with their teacher until submitting their competition project.

  1. MŮŽEŠ PODNIKAT

The seminar introduces students to two entrepreneurs and shows what it takes to start their own project.

    2 teaching periods

  2. Entrepreneurship Day

An experienced teacher and an entrepreneur lead the day as a tandem. Students test a problem and propose a solution.

    7 teaching periods

  3. By

    JA Pilot competition

JA Pilot gives teams a clear goal. They develop an idea in Lean Canvas and prepare a project with methodological support from JA Czech for teachers.

6–7 teaching periods + student homework

Value for teachers

Support for sustained project-based teaching

As a teacher, you get a prepared programme and methodological support for guiding teams. Martin from Adaptivio helps book each part and coordinate dates with the partners. This leaves you free to focus on your class and build on its project in economics, social sciences or other subjects.

The seminar takes 2 teaching periods and Entrepreneurship Day takes 7. JA Pilot involves 6–7 teaching periods plus student homework. We will discuss how the programme fits into teaching before you join.

Questions before booking

How much time will I need as a teacher?

The seminar takes 2 teaching periods and Entrepreneurship Day takes 7. JA Pilot involves 6–7 teaching periods plus student homework. The total workload can vary with the teams’ progress and how you fit the project into teaching.

Do I need management approval and an approved budget in advance?

Not for a non-binding enquiry. We will first discuss the options for your class. You will receive programme, organisational and pricing information to discuss with management and colleagues.

When can the programme take place?

We will agree the seminar and Entrepreneurship Day dates with your school to leave room for teamwork. For the 2026/2027 school year, JA Pilot opens registration on 1 October 2026 and closes submissions on 20 April 2027. A link to the JA Pilot rules is at the end of this page.

Does the whole class have to continue into the competition?

JA Pilot works with teams of 3–6 students. Before you join, we will discuss with you and JA Czech which teams continue after the shared day and how their work fits into teaching.

Is the programme suitable for students who do not want to start a business?

Independent decision-making, collaboration and presenting their own work are useful in further study and employment too. The programme develops these skills through a business idea. Students do not need plans to start a company.

Do students need to arrive with an idea?

No. During Entrepreneurship Day, they find a topic and initial solution with the tandem's support. They can contribute to teamwork in different ways — asking people questions, organising findings, thinking through a solution or designing its presentation.

What if we have fewer than 25 students?

Tell us your actual student numbers. The published prices apply to groups of 25 or more; options and pricing for smaller groups need to be agreed individually.

Do all teams have to travel to the competition final?

Competition entries are submitted online. Selected teams advance to an in-person final with a presentation before a judging panel, according to JA Pilot rules. Travel only needs arranging if a team advances.

We have already hosted a MŮŽEŠ PODNIKAT seminar. Is it worth contacting you?

Yes. Tell us when the seminar took place, for which class and what students took from it. We will discuss how to build on that experience in the remaining parts of the Path.

Can we book only Entrepreneurship Day?

Yes. Entrepreneurship Day also works on its own. Choose the full Path if you want to give students more room to develop their own idea and would like support for longer-term project-based teaching.
